Should Churches Have Multiple Services?

I (Michael Nolan, TIM President) have been asked by multiple churches my thoughts about what other churches do in regard to having multiple services.  While there are so many variables that make each situation unique, recently I was presented with a great reason for every church to have multiple services.

Easter Sunday, 2018 I was out of town consulting with a Christian school system and I have the privilege of meeting, ministering, and even living on premises with a group of international students.  I was asked by two 18 year old students to go to church on Easter.  The catch was that both young men wanted to go to different churches.

Because the two different churches had multiple services I was able to take both.  I took one to a church at 8 a.m. and the other young man to a church at a later service time.

Both young men were able to hear the gospel and God allowed me the opportunity to speak openly with both of them. Through these conversations, one affirmed a decision he had made at a younger age and the other affirmed his beliefs in Jesus but had never asked for forgiveness of his sins and put his faith in Christ alone for his salvation…and on this Easter, he did.

Praise the Lord!
